President
Dawn Garcia
Pursuit of Excellence
Dawn Garcia, has owned and operated a successful business management consulting practice in Eau Claire, named Pursuit of Excellence LLC for five years.
Personally, she’s always been an advocate and champion of physical fitness and wellness, where she connected with Christine a number of years ago through yoga.
As Christie was embarking on her non-profit venture, Dawn was naturally one of the folks that she reached out to, for advice and support on the board.
Dawn believes in Christie’s many talents in advancing physical wellness through body-based healing services, including TRE and Yoga, and agreed to serve, aspiring to make the dream of total wellness a reality for everyone.

Dr. Carleen Sterner, MD
Ayurvedic Health Practitioner, Reiki Practitioner, Laughter Yoga Leader
I am an MD who practiced Family Medicine for almost 25 years. I was first exposed to the initial concepts, research and technique that has been refined to become TRE at a medical conference many years ago. It was presented as a case study and a very successful approach for facilitating the recovery of a returned vet from a severe case of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). TRE has now evolved into an accessible, effective and very significant tool for processing the many forms of past, present and future mental and emotional “trauma” that we all will encounter in the course of our lives to different degrees.
I have been privileged to experience TRE in both individual and group settings firsthand on multiple occasions. The process of trusting my body and giving it “permission” for physical release of the results of years of various forms of unprocessed stress and emotion was incredible for me. The experience is comparable to a “detox” on both a physical and energetic level and I am grateful for the calm relaxed and joyful state that follows for me. Surprisingly (to me) giving up a desire to always” be in control” and allowing myself to observe and accept the innate mechanism my body has for “release” when doing TRE leaves me with a greater sense of clarity, peace and less need to have that control in the first place. I love it and will keep doing it as able!
